G31 520D X-Drive

Had my car delivered this morning, got it direct from BMW via the UK Military/Emergency Services scheme which was a fantastic deal, 20% off of the retail price.

It was a factory build, due at the end of February, but came in last week, 5 weeks earlier than predicted. Not too many extra's, I didn't want the M-sport edition as I didn't fancy the 20" wheels. Just privacy glass & Harman Kardon sound over the basic car. Bernina Grey.

It actually lasts surprisingly long. It's been almost a year and is still noticeable lol

I agree, getting in the car today, reminded me of my 2013 F10 LCi, the smell is exactly the same and that 'new car' smell lasted for ages.

I had a 2011 Pre-LCI F10 535i, and that smelt horrible after 10 years of owning it lol! Glad to get rid of it!

Congratulations! Nice looking car. I'm a big fan of diesels. Much harder to get here in the U.S., though.

If you didn't get the M-Sport why are there ///M emblem's on the fenders?

From the pictures I see it does have the M-Sport package.

Yeah probably just a typo or that's the most M Sport SE spec I've ever seen lol. Either way congrats enjoy!

Correct me if I'm wrong... I thought the M Sport cars came with 19" wheels as standard and the 20" wheels were an optional extra.

Sorry if I wasn't clear Guys. It is the M-Sport, but in the UK market there is also the M-Sport 'pro-pack', (not 'edition'... that was my mistake, that was another launch version of the LCI M-sport I think). The Pro-pack is an M-sport with larger wheels, black pack, painted brake callipers, M seat belts etc... I didn't want that because of the wheels being larger.
