How to code remaining range to fixed value?

Hello all,

I would like that my remaining range is not calculated based on the last driven X km but simply assumes a fixed value.

Optimal would be 10l, because then you would know that there are still 8.1l in the tank when it shows 81km.

Has anyone ever done this with BimmerCode?

Thank you, Manuel

Just drove a round, because I still had to shop. All rather short distance over 18km,

Start was at 568km rest,

at 561 rest I had on return.

If now the encoder has a little measurement inaccuracy, it should have been.

I changed the TNK_SECURITY FACTOR from 82 to 10xd as described above.

I am now unsubscribing from this post and will get back to you in a month with the results if that was indeed it and how to cope with it in practice. Until then a vacation with 1400km drive is planned.

Unfortunately did not work.
It corrects less, but still.

It bothers me too on the G series… it was great on the F series. Is there any solution with coding?
