Hoonigan Bimmerpost Garage - Place to Discuss All Hoonigan Content

I have seen enough M3's with Hoonigan license plate brackets and Hoonigan stickers to know a lot of Hoonigan fans ride ///M cars.

I figured I would make a thread to discuss all of Hoonigan's content, the OG Daily Transmission episodes, the current video format, all the hosts/employees, and of course Ken Block with my fellow ///M enthusiast.

Even if you hate Hoonigan you are welcome, stop by and please tell a story of why. Don't just post "Hoonigan sucks" say why you feel that way.

What is Hoonigan and why does it have such a cult following? I see the stickers on a lot of the Focus STs and the lot, not so much on more expensive cars. A lot of the fans drive cars with less-than-tasteful mods.

I don't have an opinion either way as I just don't know much about it.

I really enjoy their Youtube channel, and of course watching Mr. Block do his thing is something else (greatly looking forward to gymkhana 10). I just wish I had the means/skills to be able to do all that. ;P

Please keep it up!

So Hoonigan was a brand created by well known rallycross driver and Gymkhana driver Ken Block and a buddy of his who ran a few magazines including 0to60 magazine Brian Scotto.

It is basically a automotive lifestyle brand. Many people think Ken Block = Hoonigan, but they are really more than that.

A little over a year ago they began creating daily content, known as Daily Transmission, then a few months ago they rebooted that as separate episodes for each day of the week.

Majority of it is them dicking around in their parking lot living the dream job.

If you saw Hoonigan on a Fiesta ST/Focus ST or RS, you more than likely found a Ken Block fan since that is near the cars he drives, but Hoonigan is much more than Ken Block in 2018.

Thx for the reply. Yeah I knew about Ken Block before he started it. I'll check out some of their content on Youtube.

It's not much different than what you see in the videos, it's a bunch of guys into the same likes & interests just hanging out and talking shop.

Nothing that stands out, just details on past and upcoming projects.

Here's the TwerkStallion video from the dyno session:

Sadly, most of the cars around here that I see those stickers on don't know anything about Ken Block & are just adding more bs to their already clapped out POS.

came across Chris Harris's Hoonigan review of the so called "Mustang" about 2mo ago... it's like watching a cars caricature of caricature times it's own caricature divided by pi. I will compliment them for how over the top holy f'n shit moments they provide!

I know he worked for a couple FD teams before joining Hoonigan.

He is a natural on camera. He is way better than the guy he replaced.

Yeah he's always been a ham. He's been good for them and vice versa. Hell of a driver too.
