I'm on the Courage. Have conflicting information from various sources, as to whether I'm getting off at NY or SC. Guess I'll find out when Monday or Tuesday my car shows up as either on or off the boat.

This is an exciting time (because I know my car is on its way, getting closer each day!) but also an axious time since it is many days with no change in status

How are you getting conflicting information? I'm assuming the build sheet says one port and the information from the shipping company is showing another.

build sheet says CHSPOA -- Charleston, SC. But several others on this forum who live in the Chicago area posted that their cars came through NY / Port Jersey. The shipping company info doesn't specify the port of entry -- I'll find out when the website updates Monday or Tuesday after the ship has arrived and departed NY. If my car is still on the boat than it's SC.

Anyone know why Wallenius Welhelmsen shows two entries for arrival and departure from NY? The original data showed arrival on the 7th and departure on the 7th. Late arrival? another day of waiting

Well, it made it to New York and is back out to sea. Hopefully it will still be in Charleston on Sunday. Really would like to see my car by the end of next week. If they turn it around in Spartanburg in a couple of days and two more to Michigan it might be possible.

Looks like it should be in SC tomorrow. I was pretty excited to think I might have my car by the end of the week but now it doesn't look like it after talking to my dealer yesterday. They said that even if they get the car on Thursday or Friday, they don't get the paper work from BMW NA until about 4 days later. Therefore, they can't apply for title and the car will sit at the dealer.

The dealer is also an MB dealer. They said that Mercedes sends everything along with the car so there is no delay. But, BMW sends it via US Mail. I called BMW NA to confirm and couldn't get much of a response on this. Maybe someone has some additional insight.

I dont know how true that is. i have read many posts about people getting their car just a couple days after being unloaded from the ship. BMW knows about your order, why would they send the paperwork days after the car arrives at the dealer?

A 4 day wait to get the paper work? In some cases the Certificate of Origin arrives before the car!

Port of Charleston is showing Courage arriving tomorrow, WW's site still shows it arriving today. Still hope to have my 330i by the end of the week. I'll be calling BMWNA tomorrow and tell them to overnight the Statement of Orgin to my dealer. Pure BS if my car arrives before snail mail.

Courage has been in and out of Charleston per WW site. Cargo tracking still shows my car on the boat but I think it is about a day late with the cargo updates.

WW said my car was driven off the ship at 1:30pm CST today. If the rest of my journey is similar to those off the DJ, I should be taking delivery by Saturday at the earliest, to Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest (my CA is off Monday).

still waiting. 800 # says in transit and dealer has no new info. If I don't get the call tomorrow then will probably end up taking delivery Tuesday or Wednesday. One more week to go at the most!!!
