Bimmercode novice--a little help please

Just downloaded Bimmercode--took a while to figure out that in addition to downloading the app you next have to buy the $26.99 "Full version" as nothing in the app worked without it. Thought you could code with the app alone--nope.

Using an OBDLink Bluetooth adapter which connects fine. After downloading the full version of Bimmercode I was able to switch the A/S/S to Memory which means it will default to whatever I had one the last time I used the car--which means off. I also think I deactivated the iDrive warning screen. We'll see. However, I was not able to deactivate the ASD speaker sound. In the Demo mode of Bimmercode is shows Active Sound Design at the top of the ECU list. When I am logged into my G30 the top ECU listed is "Advanced Crash Safety Module"--no ASD. Am I missing something? Doesn't my 2019 540xi have this? I also did not see how to change the default for the cruise control distance setting. In the demo it appears in the Integrated Chassis Management module which also does not show up in my screen when connected to my car. I also seem to be missing a couple of other ECUs that appear in the demo. Anyway, any guidance would be appreciated as I would like to be able to change those items. Thanks--Bob

I believe only M550i, M550d and M5 have ASD.

To add to this.
You have to be connected to keep ASD off. If you remove obd Bluetooth or are not connected by Bluetooth ASD reverts to normal and will be turned back on when you hit sport button.
I learned this with flaps and ASD.

Ah, that would explain it. I thought all of them had it but apparently not. Just as well; I then don't have to turn it off. Thanks.--Bob

Isn't a Bimmercode change permanent once it is coded? It seems to suggest that it is. I will remove the Bluetooth connection and see if my other changes have stayed.--Bob

Thanks for the thoughts on the ASD. Any idea why the Integrated Chassis Management module which does not show up in my screen when connected to my car? Seems like I probably have a chassis. --Bob

That is partially correct. ASD can be coded off and t will stay off with BimmerCode. BimmerLink will also allow the flap to be set on demand, if the OBD adapter is in place and on.

When my car was off I confirmed flaps were fully open, went into trunk and removed the 7.5 red fuse so I didn't have to think about it again. Flaps are open all the time now.
I don't mind ASD, just wish that's what car actually sounded like and wasn't fake sound. Kinda strange they did that in my eyes

BimmerCode doesn't support all modules in G series cars.

Alternative is to use esys to FDL code. Esys is far more powerful, but requires a Windows PC and OBD2 to ethernet cable. Check the coding forums for more details.
