Remote Engine Start is disabled in the idrive menu.

I think there is somewhere a setting missing, that the car should also do preheating without starting the engine.

i searched a bit in E-Sys in the IHKA CAFD but not sure about.

Hi, I have a 02/2019 BMW x5 40i xdrive Italian model.
I set all the settings indicated with my bimmercode. When I started the car remotely it gave me the following error message:
Remote engine start not available. The necessary conditions for use are not present. For further information, consult the use and maintenance manual.
Where is the prloblem? thank you for help.

That may actually be your location. There are options that will not be available based on your ConnectedDrive account location, even if the car comes with them.
