Truth. Same goes for firefighters, police, paramedics, and anyone else that that routinely puts themselves in harms way. If anything, these professions see way more action than someone in the military that's trained to fight. And these professions apparently don't get paid squat to what what some in the military may see.

Lastly, all of these people did choose their profession. You would hope most understand the positives, negatives, and the sacrifice. Many of us outside of the military also "sacrifice" too with high levels of stress (which sucks years out of your life span), lots of travel, long hours, time away from friends, family, missed events, etc. I'm not saying it's comparable but no job is perfect.

100%. It is atrocious how men and women who serve are treated, especially under this current administration. I see it first hand having a brother active duty and currently deployed.

The least people can do is treat them right here, which is the heart of the issue in what this dealership did.

It is true and WE are not out of Iraq nor Syria. It's like saying we are not in Saudi Arabia either but we are still there too.

Yep, there about 2500 US personnel in Iraq currently to assist the current government.

Exactly. And not just the first responders or whatever, the menial ones that keep society functioning.

Dealer issued a response on their Facebook page. Wonder how many other folks were taken for a loop from this dealer?

Interesting. This thing really had to come back to bite them hard in the ass before they did anything and from what I’ve read I’m guessing the fact they have the car back has more to do with the unsuspecting buyer bringing it back and telling them he wanted nothing to do with it than anything good they initiated.

So the CEO of a dealership (group I'm guessing), doesn't review and understand the numbers his company generates on a monthly basis?

Lol, yeah, right...

Plausible deniability are two of the most beautiful words in the English language.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plausible_deniability

Edit: it also sounds nice in German and French! glaubhaften Abstreitbarkeit, Déni plausible

IDK man, he ax'ed his GM, Sales manager and salesperson. Who else would you want to lose their job over this? He picked his GM sure, but that doesn't mean he knows the day to day on every single thing.

Their response is nothing more than cookie cutter bs. Also, the buyer still wants to pay this much for THAT car? lol smh & I own a Hellcat. If mine was $100k new in 2018 when I bought it, I would not even have looked at them.

Every CEO knows the margins of the business. It's literally why they are in business.

Didn't happen in a vacuum though, it was either management's intent, or management's lack of control that led to it.
