So I ordered a 2023 550i in British Racing Green (love that color) 3.5 weeks ago and got my production number yesterday. From a what’s next pov, what’s next? 😀 Any chance I may have it by the end of the year (dealer said the BRG would add roughly 3-5 weeks)? When should I expect to get a VIN and see production status and all that other fun stuff? Many thanks all.

Congratulations with receiving the production number! Now you can register on "My BMW" on BMW USA website, go to "My Garage" and add your car to your "garage" using the production number. There you will be able to check the status. When the status changes from "order received" to "scheduled for production", you can call BWM Genius and find out the build week (this is the week your car will be completed). From the build week, it would take at least a couple of months until your dealer receives the car (not sure how much time a non-standard color might add).
