For those of us who have been leasing BMWs for many years, a deal like that can truly turn one’s stomach. But then there’s today’s world…

Good luck

Wow, curious is it fully loaded? DHP pkg, exec pkg, driving assistant pkg, nappa seats, alcantara, massaging seats, heat front and rear seats etc?

I can get a better deal on lower models with less features as well. Thanks

Tanzanite paint, Nappa seats, leather dash, heated front/rear seats, heated steering wheel, ventilated and massage front seats, the additional warranty/service to make 4year/50k miles.

Msrp is msrp, lease prices are based off the price of the car. Of course you’ll get a better deal on cheaper car.

For the times and the mileage on that lease it’s not bad but it’s a lot compared to the past and future ? If you need a car and can swing the payment go for it. I’m buying out my lease and counting on life returning to normal in the 1-3 year range. I don’t have a crystal ball but supply and demand works and cuts both ways. I secretly and not secretly wish everyone would pass on these high prices and Msrp and msrp plus deals so pricing would drop to normal levels. Even at normal pricing I’d still find it hard to get a car without my desired options since they are not available due to chip shortages.

I’ll stick with my loaded 2019 for now and plan on buying out my lease.

I think I will have to buy my 20 m550 out too. Car has 7k miles on it my payment is 840 a month 0 down. I just cant believe this market. I had 4k in rebates back then and 8% off msrp. My car right now would be 1200 a month I'm not paying it. My current lease is my 7th but not sure if I can stomach leasing another one. Hopefully market changes by December when I'm ready to order.

Lol yeah so no DHP and missing a bunch of the packages, I personally would have just passed on it then.

There are quite a few cars available at dealerships that are similarly equipped to yours and the dealer is willing to go back and forth on the price, offering an even better deal than what you received.

Where do you live so I can search these cars? I couldn't find anything remotely close to what I've been looking for, especially cheaper. Your next post says bmw will keep their prices high so you're contradicting yourself?

Enjoy your car mate, all I am saying is I would not have wasted time ordering a car missing various packages including DHP. If I am going to order something then it would have all the packages.

There are standard M550's available, check out cars.com. Some individual dealerships in NJ and PA don't have them listed on cars.com but they have quite a few in stock without DHP, exec pkg etc.

Yeah, prices are going up and BMW is saying they will be keeping them up. So what is your point?

autotrader.com is another good source. To see everything that's available, search any distance.

I intend to thank you. Only extra option I would of liked would of been driving assistant pro. but, im not going to complain about a free company car that I get to build the way I like every 3 years.

I'll look at those dealers you mentioned because $1250/mo was a gift compared to the other 5 local dealers who wanted $100-$150 more per month.

My point is youre saying these dealers will still reduce prices for cars on their lot during this environment and to top it off they know bmw will not be lowering prices in the future? It makes no economical sense, but thanks for the leads.

you guys are getting raped. Call one of the reputable brokers from leasehackr. In the "old" world they wouldn't do better than any of us persistent negotiators. In the current climate, they are well worth their $500 finders fee!

Just bought a P1 Order 540ix for my mother earlier this week: Allocation was on-hand & is currently accepted for week 13 production (last week of March 2022). MSRP: $71035; with dealer discount (5.25%) & loyalty incentives ($2k), Net Price is $65305; effectively 8% off. Then will submit for another $1k BMW CCA rebate upon receipt.

Quentin O'Brien @ 914-481-7186

I bought the car ... not leased, but do the math.

Current MF: 0.00136 (~3.26%)
G30 Residuals:
15k: 55%
12k: 57%
10k: 58%

dcrt's deal for example:
MSRP: 89735
Selling: 85023 (5.25% discount through auto broker Quentin)
Residual: 49354
Sales Tax: 7% (not paid upfront)
Monthly: $1,255.49 (dealer fees not included)

In this shitty climate for leasing (with no manufacturer incentives), consider 7 MSDs ($8,050 fully refundable in this example) for almost 1% reduction in MF, as well as paying lease sales tax in drive-off to reduce the amount you are paying interest on each month. Also consider paying your fees upfront, so you aren't paying interest by financing these fees @ 3.26% over 3 years (doc fee, dmv, acquisition fee, etc.) ... I did both lease examples for the MSRP of dctr in this manner as he indicated all fees and 1st month will be paid at drive off.

dcrt's deal for example with 7 MSDs & tax upfront:
MSRP: 89735
Selling: 85023 (5.25% discount through auto broker Quentin)
Residual: 49354
Sales Tax: 0% (paid upfront)
Monthly: $1,117.36 (dealer fees not included)
Money Factor w/ 7 MSDs 0.00094
Drive Off $ due (MSDs+Tax only): $10,546.83 ($8,050 fully refunded to you at lease turn-in)
