F90 wheels on m550

Guys what’s up
Can anyone confirm if m5 F90 stock 20” wheel setup with tires will fit m550 with no issues or rubbing etc.?

My friend has M5 OEM wheels on his M550 and lowered with h&r springs, no rubbing or any issues at all.

Yep came out great! He is running 12mm up front. No spacers in rear as its wide already and flush.

I’m looking on m550 and m5 now and trying to get more info if getting m550 wouldn’t be way too frustrating compared to m5 cause there is about 15k difference in price. I wanna say those are replicas because to my knowledge the M5 and the M550i have different bolt patterns.

they both have 5 x 112 PCD, they look genuine to me based of the concave look ion the fronts vs the replica ones

Incorrect. F90 and G30s have the same 5x112 bolt pattern.

Bought a brand new set of gloss black 706M wheels/tires from a friend. My m550i is at the shop now trying to make these fit. Here are the issues we found. m5 tire package 275/35/20 +28 (9.5" wide) Front and 285/35/20 +28 (10.5" wide) Rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4s all around.

The tires are too large... Front rubbing the upper suspension arm under load (just sitting on the ground). Also with the Msport brake package, blue calipers, the inside of the wheel is right on the edge of rubbing ,2mm. Binding under load.

We looked at going to the OE m550i tire specs, got the tires in to tuck these beasts without rubbing...and this am we find the issue with the brake caliper clearance. hmmmm.. thinking 3mm spacers all around?

Or sell it off and just get some HRE's lol

he said he's running 12mm spacers at the front so front spacers would be helpful it seems?

Its my friends car. Hes running 245 up front and 275 in the rear.
Hes lowered on H&R springs. No rubbing issues at all.

Yea his next go around he will up it to 255 and 285 for better wheel coverage.
