Great tool for glove box

Hi everyone,

I saw the other discussion thread about scratches on the instrument dial, and thought I'd share about these Swifter dusters I use.

With all the glossy and delicate surfaces our cars have, these things are perfect for a quick cleaning/dusting, and they have not scratched my car yet. They fit easily in the glove box, are within easy arms reach from there so I'll take it out once in while before leaving in the morning or waiting at the drive -thru, or whenever. They're inexpensive too. Hope this helps some folks out there.

Inside. I just grabbed them out of my pantry. I use them all over the house.

I would avoid anything dry being dragged across the cars finish. There is no magic to these dusters - they pick up dust well, but also then drag it across the same surface. I would use a waterless wash or detailing spray with a clean microfiber cloth for touchups between washes. I keep a spray bottle with a combination of waterless wash for its lubricity and a detailing product cut with ionized water for shine.

Yes, just dilute it extra. Since I have a ceramic coated vehicle, I use CarPero ECH2o which is an Si02 hybrid waterless wash which also includes gloss enhancers. It can be used as a quick detailer when highly diluted with distilled water. I also add a little of CarPro Reload as my QD.

I have also heard great things about Adams waterless wash.
