On street parking information , appears to be live for UK

just logged into my Connected drive portal and it would appear that On-street parking information information is now live. It shows as booked until 2020 for my car.

Straight from the web page :-

On-Street Parking Information makes looking for somewhere to park easier in the big city by displaying the probability of finding a space in BMW Navigation. Roads are colour-coded depending on the likelihood of available spaces so drivers can easily see from the navigation map which streets are the best options here when searching for parking. In selected towns BMW Navigation shows vacant parking spots in shades of blue. The system also individually updates the display with colour marking in real time as spaces become free.

The benefits at a glance:
•Display of the probability of finding available on-street parking
•Individual display of spaces on the roads as they become free in real time
•Greater efficiency for traffic in search of somewhere to park

Will have to keep an eye out for this.

Yep. Used this the other day. Think they use possibly RingGo data or something like that to make the predictions. It's very broad and would like this tech to get better. Will make a difference.

Strange I am in the UK and my car doesn't appear to have this available yet? Wonder if it is updating by region? Sounds decent though.

I would assume it by country but I guess they will just update each car in turn.
