ET values after market rims - experience ?

I'm new to this forum and still driving my F10. I have a 530e on order (estimated delivered 1st of Nov) and am looking for a pair of 20" after-market rims. Currently I'm interested in the Vossen CV3-R which come in size 9x20 ET25 for the front and 10,5x20 ET42 or ET45 for the back. I have been looking around on this forum but did not see anybody mentioning ET values neither using these rims hence my questions:

- Anybody has experience with these measures - I want to make sure they fit and are not too wide, while also making sure they come equal with the wheel arch (car will be lowered). I saw pictures with after-market 20" here on the forum but they don't mention ET values.

- Currently I'm running 245/40 and 275/35 on my F10 - but those rims (Niche) are 8,5/10 inch wide. By going to 9 front/10,5 back is it advisable to use 265/285 width tyres ? I don't want the tyres to hit the body of the car neither when going over a bump, had that in the far past but was no fun. On the other hand I don't like the stance when the rim is more wide than the tyre.

Thx for sharing any experience here.

Hi,
I am searching for the same information and I don’t see much of feedback.
I have rear wheels steering on mine and I’m concerned about max width and appropriate ET. Almost no one is talking about ET, it seems to be top secret

ALPINA offers 8.5 front and 10 rear but they don’t talk about ET, again... I can only guess they are stock ET front and rear. They offer the rear steering wheels as standard with these 10” wheels.

In terms of tires, ALPINA uses 255/35/20 fronts and 285/30/20 (touring) or 295/30/20 (saloon) rears, which means the x-drive has some tolerance in front/rear diameter difference.

I currently use 265 front and 285 rear on my stock 19” wheels, they better fill the wheels arches, I prefer.

I have a set of 19" winter-wheels 8x19 ET30 (F) and 9x19 ET44 (B) which are the same as the factory-values for 19 inch. I'll be adding spacers 10mm front and 15mm back (to fit - will be optimized by the shop where I ordered the whole thing).

For summer-wheels I've bought a set 9x20 ET32 and 10,5x20 ET36. According to the company delivering them they are made to fit the G30.

I'll have the car in approximately 10 days from now, will fit the summer-wheels for a couple of days to make sure they're ok. Afterwards the winter-wheels have to go on over here. So I'll have pictures of both setups around the end of November.

I have the 20in x8 the front 9 in the rear. I am also a servive tech. i had balanced my wheels one day and was curious so i put the 20x9 on the front and it does hit the strut. You will need a spacer. I am setting up a set for winter. i went with a 19x8.5 with a 245/40/19. Square setup. . I found a good company to deal with audiocityusa.. Selection is good and they even priced match a set i found online with ebay. Also i contacted several places about the ypm sensors and most of them didnt offer much help. hut i did read on a form a person tried tirerack with success. i contacted them a and bought four of them for 160. also at the dealership i work a guy once worked at the local BMW dealer in parts. and they even recommended people if they wanted aftermarket go with tirerack.. Ill let you know how it goes in about a week.

but the f10 wheels are 5x120 and the g30 is 5.112. but thats just from my research
