Hi. I’m looking for a better sound for my M550i. There are a lot of amazing exhausts, I like the Remus best so far. But I also like how quiet the car is when flaps are closed in Comfort mode with stock exhaust.

So my question is, if anyone knows about exhaust, which will deliver a better sound with flaps open and keep the car as quiet as possible with flaps closed?

I think you described the M sport exhaust on the M550iX already. Flaps are shut in Comfort and Adaptive and open in Sport mode. Not sure an aftermarket one will offer closed flaps as an option.

You can do downpipes and leave the the stock catback that may give you the sound you're looking for.

Yeah, and I would like the Sport mode with open flaps to be louder Not really sure that will be possible (with keeping Comfort mode quiet), so I’m trying to ask fellow G30ers

I have Remus axle back. In comfort mode it's very quiet - minimal diference when you comapre it to the stock.

Yeah, there are a lot of videos of Remus exhausts, but all in Sport mode, none in Comfort mode Thanks anyway

I've only seen downpipes from (I think) ac schnitzer, do you know of any other ones?
