Wondering about coding options I've seen
So I've seen coding for things that are already in my menus. Things like below (mostly at bimmertech coding):
tire temps/pressure option to turn off daytime running lights sport display (hp/tq dials) compass or gps coordinates pop trunk with the key sport+ traffic information there's others but I just wanted to throw a quick list together Do other people have these options already available or is there something weird about my cars settings being available from the factory? |

Some settings may be present in some markets and not others , some of that maybe regulatory requirements.
Ie in the us I think you have to click on a disclaimer for somethings , in the U.K. we don't so it will be down to things like that. The sport+ mode is standard on the bigger engines (not sure of the exact list but for example it is present on the 540i but I don't think it is on a 520d for example) And I guess some options are just not enable anywhere as bmw decided not to enable / show them for what ever reason. These things may change during the models lifespan as it gets tweaked. |

I don't think the OP as saying there is a problem, just that he saw these code-able items listed that are already on his car via settings and wondered why.

correct, just checking to see if things were updated on BMW's side when they saw certain things were being coded on previous years.
