I waffled on the luxury seating pkg (also nappa mocha) and am very glad I ended up getting it. The perforations aren't really noticeable IMO - I think they look worse in pictures, and also they are much less apparent on darker leather like the mocha.

I've been running the seat warmers like crazy with how cold it's been where I live. Have also already found a reason to run warmer and ventilation at the same time when I had to run through a cold rain from the store earlier this week.

Understand it's not for everyone, of course!
It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
These are luxury automobiles, literally everything about them are wants and not needs
No difference for me. I need it all.

I had heated seats on my Benz and would never get leather seats in a car without them. I am loving the heat and back massage. Run them both every time I get into car. Actually sat in car in garage with heat and massage on. I actually like the look of the perforated leather as it breaks up the smother parts. Just as long as it doesn't shorten the life of the seats.
I actually decided on the luxury seating package before I decided on the IND leather option. Very glad I got both. As appropriately stated above, I need it all. 😃😃

Can you provide what region these numbers are valid for? According to BMW USA, my zip has far fewer incentives. I will of course check with my local dealer to confirm.

Jason, we also need an update on MSDs. My dealer just indicated that MSDs are back with a rate reduction of .00005. At least they now appear to be back for West Coast.

Hi All,

I picked up my new M550i yesterday, and I wanted to share my lease breakdown. I got 9% off + incentives. I found four dealers willing to go that low, one of which would honor for an order. I opted for a car in inventory, however.

MSRP = $90,485
Selling Price = $82,340 (9% discount)
Add on = $600 for Maintenance+
Term = 36 month/12k miles annually
Residual = 59%
MF = .00188 (dealer wanted to mark up but I stood my ground)
Incentives = $3500 ($1500 lease cash + $2000 loyalty)
Cash down = $2000 (first months payment, dealer/govt fees, tax on cap cost reduction, and ~$180 to get to round number)

Final Payment = $1076 pretty darn close to 1% of MSRP for a luxury car.

Note: My loyalty credit was based on my BMW Motorcycle ownership. Some dealers were not aware that this qualified, but it was confirmed by BMW NA.

Know your numbers, because I found a lot of misinformation and shady tactics while shopping around. You have to keep the dealers accountable!

Just signed/picked up a Mediterranean Blue M550 last night. I thought it was a very fair deal.

MSRP 80970
Discount 6370
Rebates 4500 Loyalty 2k, Lease 1500k and Auto Show 1k
5k down and 5600 in MSDs. Apparently they are allowed in MN now as well.
MN tax is a little above 7% on the entire lease payment.
Payment $799
Add Tire and Wheel for 726 brings the final payment to 822.08.

Edit: 3 year 10k mile lease/60% residual.

Thanks for posting this information every month! I don't think the program carried over unchanged from April though. Everywhere I've checked for rates says the MY2018 lease support has ended. Also, is most (but maybe not all) regions, lease incentives have also gone up.

June MF on 2019 M550i ?

Hi all,

I should be receiving my new 2019 M550i within the next couple weeks and I’d like to confirm the latest June lease details before I go in for pickup. I’m presently locked with the following from when I ordered the car:

12k/yr 59% residual
MF of .00177
$2000 Loyalty Credit
$1500 Lease Credit

Based on this thread's June Update, looks like residual remains 59% and there was a nice $2000 increase to the Lease Credit to bring it to $3500. Before I get too excited about any potential savings, what about the June MF? I'm hopeful that’s still .00177 or lower?

June money factor is .00165 at buy rate. Also Lease Credit is now $3,500 so you should be getting $5,500 if you include Loyalty of $2,000.

Wow, MF went down to .00165 ? And we’re talking about 2019 M550i, just to be sure, right? That’ll be nice. Thanks for the info.

And, yes, total Loyalty plus Lease Credit of $5500. I also have a $1000 Winter Drive Event Credit for total of $6500 Credits to go on top of negotiated discount. I was a bit bummed to just miss out on July engine upgrade, but these improved June lease numbers make me feel better about my deal at least. Thanks.

BMW lease programs are regional so your incentive and money factor may vary.

You can get the money factor for your region if you go to the Edmunds forum and ask.

Thanks. Appreciate the info for future reference. For now, I’ve confirmed with my local advisor that the above mentioned MF and incentives will apply to me. Substantial savings over what I had.
