Factory or Aftermarket Warranty Void?
My 2017 530i is still under factory bumper to bumper, CPO, and Aftermarket Warranty that was bought through BMW at time of purchase. And it came with the 634 style 18' OEM rims but I want to upgrade to either some 19’ or 20’ BMW OEM rims, would that void the warranty at all? The rims I’m looking at all came off G30 models.

I can't see that being an issue at all. After all of you had an extra set of wheels for winter tyres that wouldn't be an issue so this shouldn't be either.
I would suggest you tell your insurance company though. |

He asked about the warranty. Why would you open a can of worms by contacting your insurance company?

Just because if there was an accident and you hadn't declared it, the insurance company might try and wiggle out of a claim possibly.
It was just a friendly piece of advice, that's all. |

No
In the uk you should declare any modifications to the car. Some may affect your premium ,some may not. Their view is if you fit something that makes it more desireable to steal for example. This view may differ in other countries potentially but here , best to be upfront just in case. |

I’m not offering legal advice as I’m not in that business and there could be factors I’m not aware of. But I’ve changed wheels and tires on many, many vehicles as have millions of people in the U.S., and have never heard of it being something that needs to be disclosed.

In UK, you have to. It would almost always increase your insurance premium. Any modification including window tinting, adding m perfomance body kit or change of colour would have to be declared
