G30 540i Lowered on AC Schnitzer Springs on Adaptive Suspension

Just got my G30 Lowered on AC Schnitzer lowering springs. Not realpy happy with the drop, around 2 fingers gap but I was told the car would lower itself over time.

That looks like the only thing lowered was your bank account. I wouldn't be pleased with that as well!

Yeah exactly but then again I was told it would take a few weeks for the suspension to settle down. Apparently it would ultimately lower to 1 finger gap at the front and 1.5 finger at the rear. I shall wait and see if that really happens.

The most it will lower after installation is 1/8 to 1/4 of inch. Which is about 3-6mm.

I'm curious to hear how the ride has changed with the new springs... did they adjust the tuning for the adaptive shocks too? Please share any specifics with the handling characteristics as the springs continue to settle. Thanks.

I had ACS springs on my F10 with adaptive dampers. Initial lowering was not much, similar to yours. I was shocked that after a few months they had completely settled to less than 1 finger gap. They looked great in the end but it took a while - It sounds illogical but they definitely drop with time.

Sure. There wasnt any adjustment done with the adaptive shock absorbers. The ride is noticeably stiffer than on stock springs. Much less pronounced bodyroll.

I had the ACS on F10s as well. I can confirm that after a few months they will settle.

Help on lowering g30 with DDC. I installed a set of H and R sport springs and now my EDC control units in the front are leaking fluid. If anyone has any information please respond.

Looks great! With 1 inch finger gap in the back any issues when you have passengers in the backseat?
