I just ordered cat back exhausts for m550i. I wonder, besides the interesting sound, does it really adds performance (whp)?

I will be rude but I hope you will get your answer.
It is easy to understand.What do you think if you fart through the straw or through sewage pipe what would be easier to you?
Same should be for your engine/turbo. Spool quicker, breathe out easier,more acceleration and more whp, ofcourse you will not gain much unless you get at least s1 of MHD or BM3 equivalent but you will gain something.

Got it. Thanks. I also ordered a tune and cold air intakes. I hope the combination of those will significantly improve the performance.
