Anyone with ECS Tuning Coilover
Hi All,
Has anyone ever installed/tested ECS Performance Adjustable Coilover System? https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...d/002333ecs01/ I'd love to lower the car a bit and don't like the idea of just doing the springs to lower the car. KW V3, is just way out of my budget and if I ever want to spend that much, I'll change them to M5 suspension parts. I just noticed this on the ECS Tuning website today. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Cheers, |

Honestly, at that price point, I would pass. I wouldn't be surprised if the factory dampers outperform them.
Why are you ruling out lowering springs? With a moderate drop (assuming that's what you want) the factory shocks perform just fine. If you are concerned about shock travel, get yourself the Dinan bump stop kit too. |

My car’s now raised because of the 7 series wheels and it’s just bothering me. It has to drop a bit. I thought Dinan only has for m550i with DHP though! |

You're right on the Dinan front - they are only for M550s, my apologies.
I still think springs are a better solution for you though, unless you go with a more reputable coilover brand. |

I just purchased my 540i last week and i’m currently looking at the H&R Sport Springs. Has almost a 2” drop in the rear and 1.5” in the front also coming in under $500! They actually have them on ECS Tuning for a little over $300.
