bmw g30 ski and snowboard bag

The bmw g30 ski and snowboard bag, according to the owner’s manual is in the trunk.

I looked, and mine is missing. Is this an optional item, or should I have received one?

Mine says that too but I believe it is merely bad editing. I suspect that the intent was that if one ordered the bag, it was there.

Look for it via the center armrest panel in the the back seat. But there should also be an opening panel in the trunk seat back.--Bob

I don’t think a ski bag is included. Must be an option.

Should have looked this up before, but here is what I found in the 2019 Owner's manual on page 270. I have not actually looked in mine to see if it is there. Maybe later today. But I did look on the BMWUSA website and on Google and I cannot find any mention of a ski bag being included with a G30. It used to be part of the older "Cold Weather" package. And when I go to the ShopBMW website for accessories it says the ski bag offered for other models "is not compatible with your vehicle." Oh well. So much for the owner's manual.--Bob

Ski and snowboard bag
The ski and snowboard bag is contained in a
protective jacket in the cargo area.
Follow the installation and owner's manual included
in the protective jacket.
Depending on the vehicle equipment: remove
the emergency wheel from the vehicle to mount
the ski and snowboard bag.
