One angle I wish the 360 cameras had.

as much as I love the 360 cameras, it's missing a feature that I really use that the Q50's 360 cameras have - it's the front fender camera and is really useful to get as close as to the curb as possible without curbing the front rim. The issue is the 360 cameras have a zoomed out view, so while you can still see, just wish there was a dedicated camera angle for this.

I know where your coming from, the bm cameras are great, just wish they gave that as a side option.

I had a new E63s for a few weeks which had it the kerb view and it was great.

This one should have been one of the easiest options to implement as there's a camera on the side mirror. Wonder what would have been the rationale for not doing it?

I just think, that they didn't think of it. Should be a easy firmware update if BMW think of doing it. If you have the camera then you have the camera. It just takes a few "ones and zeros" in the right order and presto.

BMW close a open sunroof if it rains, not too many cars do that - just because they thought of it.

OP, not sure what you are missing. I can definitely get that curb view by selecting the appropriate side camera in 3D view (by turning idrive knob). Is it that, or you want it to zoom in closer? The level of zoom works fine to me, in combo with the topdown view next to it.

It's the zoom we are talking about. Given that cameras are not an accurate view (off by good few inches), a zoomed view would have helped better.
