Side Vent Louver Replacement / Installation

Hi,

Has anyone replaced their side vent louvers? My 530e has black vents. Thinking about replacing with a chrome version. I did see a thread on the forums where one member suggested pulling the vents to remove. I am hoping someone has some experience they can share.

Pulling the vents to remove them works perfectly.

I am looking to do the opposite of you. Chrome to black. Do you have the part number for the black ones?

I believe the part number is Vent Louver - BMW (51-74-7-439-014)...triple check though.
