Black Exhaust tips , done just need fitting

do you mind sharing link of diffuser you fitted ?
Have you wrapped the mirrors, side vents, and spoiler? I really want the CF rear boot lip / spoiler but can’t justify buying one as I will already have that’s body coloured due to Plus Pack. I’ve thought about getting it wrapped but never had anything done like that before and not sure on longevity / durability and actual finish

Looks great! I really want that spoiler and mirrors now!

I’m currently toying between going body colour or leaving the sills Matt, I’m leaning towards matte at the moment to coordinate with the rear diffuser. Then I’d like to add a touch of carbon with mirrors and boot spoiler

Sent you PM as well.
Thanks.

Have posted in that thread. Seen yours on the 669m wheels - they look really good against bluestone, can't wait to see it with the carbon bits

It should look good with the bumper trim in CF - how would you do it? Wrap it?
So how did you get your rear diffuser Gloss black - Followed a White G30 M-sport today with the *grey diffuser and thought to myself, that needs to be Gloss black.

Seen loads of 2nd hand diffusers on eBay so was wondering about buying one and getting it sprayed or wrapped??

I have the full M Performance body-kit with the 19" M Performance wheels

Carbon Front Splitter
Carbon Front Corners
Carbon rear Bumper
Matt Black Side Sills
Matt Black Rear Diffuser
Gloss Black Kidney Grilles
Sun protection Blacked out rear

Really wish I had bitten the bullet and added the 20" wheels (like mobilejo's) rather than toys inside the car (but like my toys) .. Just could not justify both.

I did get rid of the carbon one in the end, sold it to a forum member, and got the 'other' diffuser. Very happy with it and actually prefer it to the CF one.

Looks great, really like the stylised picture too I'm crap with the camera.

In your pic, thats the non-carbon diffuser isn't it? The same one that I've got now?

So what diffuser did you end up getting?

Are they an easy mod to change yourself.

I don’t mind the shape of the original diffuser just it needs to be gloss black

Thanks and your are right Car looks amazing now , will be fitting side blades soon .

It took me about 3 hours to fit front splitter and rear diffuser , no special tools needed just basic tools .

see the pic ,
red shows screws at the bottom
yellow where you need to clip out the current trim, start from either side , start prying slowly and pull and it will come off easily

To fit new just reverse above , you can use same reflectors in new trim

Rear diffuser
Underneath , corner screw holds trim but right next to it there is another screw that’s where you will fit the diffuser corner and 5 screws in middle

Honest mate , when you see under the car you will know exactly what to do I wasn’t sure either but worked it out .

Let us know how to get on

I totally agree, the diffuser sounds harder than it is. Once you're under there it becomes very obvious.

When are you fitting your mirrors Kam?

Where’s the best place to get that diffuser?

I think it’s best if you two stop posting pictures. You’re costing me a fortune.

Just be sure, you didn't have to remove the rear bumper and you performed this mod while it was still attached to the car. Correct?

There's an M performance guide on how to install these parts, very simple, no special tools.

Hi Guys

I am thinking about getting the rear carbon fiber rear diffusor for my m550. Has anyone done the installation themselves? Is it easy?
I see there are two components, "matt black rear side scuttle" and "Exhaust system adaptor cover" shown in the instruction manual. what are they for? are they required for the diffusor installation?

Just saw this picture. Sounds pretty easy. But how is the carbon fiber diffusor attached to the bumper trim? one screw one each corner doesn't seem to stable. Also the original screws that came off the original bumper, do they go on the new bumper trim or the CF diffusor?
