Aftermarket Sound Insulation Installation?

Has anyone configured their 5-series with aftermarket sound insulation?
I am considering adding the Dynamat (or other) product to my 540i. The Dynamat seems to be a fairly well-regarded product.
Any experience, suggestions? And installation prices?
Thanks.

If you're not doing it yourself you will need to contact local businesses for quotes. Make sure you use proper trim removal tools so you don't damage the door panels or their clips. Dynamat is really simple and you don't need a lot of it unless you want to coat the entire floor of the car to lower road noise even more.

Mach,
Thanks for your reply.
Any idea how many sqft the floor, doors and trunk add up to?
And did you consider adding Dynaliner on top of the Dynamat layer?
Thanks.

I was using prior knowledge from years ago for dynamat as I haven't done anything like that with my car. You can get a rough estimate by measuring the floors dimensions to a rough number and add 10% for fitting it to the car if you want to wrap the entire floor.
