Just wanted to give a shout-out to Gerry from BMW Nav Codes. I used him in the past to update the maps in my X3 and then recently found out he could code full screen CarPlay in my 2018 M550. Just like installing the map updates, full screen CarPlay was a breeze. He emailed me a link where I downloaded a program, then connected my computer to the car using the special cable, and in a few short minutes I had full screen CarPlay. Highly recommend him as he is very responsive to emails and has been a pleasure to work with.
