Do you add two addition brake wires for left and right side inner lights to A258. Connect branch F2 to plug A258 * 3B, pin 50. Connect branch F4 to plug A258 * 3B, pin 38. |

I can get it coded for you correctly if you are having a problem. Reach out to me via PM and I'll take care of you. Anyone else having issues with coding, reach out to me and I'll get you sorted. The coding for this is not something a layman can do so it's better to get a professional coder to do it properly. Well worth the money.

We have 5 sets left of these in stock in Michigan. You won't find a better price anywhere. So if you were ever on the fence, jump off now and grab them. These lights are gorgeous. PM if you're interested. Thanks.

Hi everyone. Ive installed the new lights myself in March, and thought it’d be good idea to share.
I live in England so this guide is suited for all, except North American cars. I don’t know much about cars; never done any mods, repairs, or have a clue about coding. This is my first BMW. What motivated me, like a few others on this forum, is the user ‘euro*’, who’d written up a guide for N. Americans. I used his guide along with the official BMW German translated wiring instructions. Attached is a guide Ive written up. Major credit to euro*. Wouldn’t have done this without his write up, so if I can do this then any novice can! Lights from a BMW dealership will cost you £730-750. Be careful of online resellers charging more. If youre in the EU, you can pick them up for 750 Euro (£600-650). Last edited by mittu; 05-10-2021 at 05:22 PM.. |

Hi everyone. Ive installed the new lci tail lights on my G30 7/2020 step by step via eba official retrofit instruction. First when I changed wiring there were a few errors in cocpit and its not working well (welcome lights not working, inner brake lights not working and reverse are blinking..). so Ive started ISTA, update firmware, BDC, SAS, FLM everything… after that select in ISTA “LCI tail lights” retrofit. After rebooting welcome lights working, brakes working, reverse working but there is an small issue.
When engine start the outer lights turn off for a two seconds and then turn on, inner lights are still turn on. The rear fog light when turned on, the inner brakes lights turn off (outer brakes lights are on) and fog lights is not turn on. Any ideas what am I missing? |

Here is a guide how to avoid any errors or blinking after start:
1) Update software to 03-2021 2) Add HELC to HO-WORT 3) Code BDC module 4) Make some changes manually (bimmercode can do this too): BL_L_CCM: ccm_346 [01 5A] BL_L_IS_LED: nicht_aktiv, default [00] BL_L_MIN_PWM: 5% [05] BL_L_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_aktiv [00] BL_R_CCM: ccm_345 [01 59] BL_R_IS_LED: nicht_aktiv, default [00] BL_R_MIN_PWM: 5% [05] BL_R_WARMUEBERWACHUNG: nicht_aktiv [00] That is it! |

I already installed few retrofits EURO & US specs (look video bellow)
Euro work with no problems and without messages. US can be coded but they don't work 100%, Welcome lights don't work, and sometimes turn signals fails (very occasionally) on my F90 were installed US tail lights and since I retrofitted whole front as well I really wanted welcome lights to work. The difference is only on trunk (inner lights) US specs light has 1 pin which control 2 zones lower and upper (turn and brake signals) , EURO have 2 separate pins. So I tool light a part and figure that there is 1 wire can be cut and connected to turn indicator (wire that you run from module) that make it work 100% as Euro spec and without errors. Sorry can not tell what wire needs to be cut since they all green, but the good news is that wire is one if the longest and can be pulled without taking light a part. I have 2 more cars to do next week, and will make few pictures. |

unfortunately still none published implementation of such a great idea
(looking for it for 3 years now - I would use it even with the preLCI lights) EU parts bought in Germany (63135A2AEC0 retrofit set + 51499448 943 +51499448944 Gutters cover on left&right side panels as mentioned in BMW original guide!) + postage to Poland ca 650 Euro ca. 790 USD! (cables and MQSes bought locally - 6 Euro) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NsV...ew?usp=sharing shop.langer.de good mail contact to define details with: plantamura@langer.de td@langer.de |
