Is Sport Plus the same as Sport Individual with all the boxes checked?

The manual is of little help here. If I configure Sport Individual and check all the boxes of offering, is this essentially Sport Plus? If not, which is more aggressive?

Thanks.

Yes, I believe so. Individual allows you to soften some of the settings.

Same with the Intelligent Safety settings. By default they are all turned on. You can go into Individual and turn them down or off.

I think you would have to throw the sifter to the left to get the full effect.

It is essentially sport plus. I use sport individual with everything on sport plus except the suspension because I am in New York, and it is uncomfortable.

Thanks. I ask because you can code all mode to start as default with BimmerCode except Sport Plus for some reason. But you can code Individual, so in essence, checking these boxes make Sport Individual = Sport Plus.

That said, I am not sure I am going to override Comfort as the default. There is not way I want to drive around in Sp+ all the time, so I would be doing the opposite of what I do now which is click Sport+ every now and then. We'll see though.

Yup, that is my plan too for Sport Individual. Boston and it's burbs aren't much better.

That goes without saying. But Apples to Apples, Sport Individual can be configured to Sport Plus.

Defaulting to Adaptive is a compromise.

Nice. Does BimmerCode increase HP and if so, how much? I saw a few tuner mods that will add 50 to 75 HP that I was thinking about. I also want to fix Apple Carplay so it's fullscreen instead of half screen. Very annoying.

BimmerCode does not effect the engine, hence no ability to effect power. You would be best served to download the app (for free) and use demo mode which will show you the items that can be changed. You can also zero in on what changes are applicable for your car via the website.

The hardware tuning options are a virtual zoo of opinions, so that is a different area to research.

That's exactly what I am thinking. I can live with starting up in adaptive all the time.

LOL, we all wish BC would add 50-75HP for $30 bucks. I've been at this for 4 days of ownership and here is my take:

AppleCarplay Full Screen - $50, someone sends you a file to upload via USB or you need to plug a laptop in for newer car software and the same person will write you an executable to run. I did the latter, piece of cake.

BimmerCode - does 80-90% of what people want to tweak in Normal Mode. Can do another 5% more in expert mode which is risky.

Hiring a Remote Coder - can do everything above to 100%, including the stuff you can't do in expert mode such as anti-dazzle headlights and Variable Light Distribution.

I believe most people use BimmerCode and compliment it with a coding session. My session is this Sunday for the main purpose of doing the lights. I have other things that I was going to tweak with BimmerCode but I may as well have him do it.

Read up here, that's what I did, it has all been covered.

I am going to do Dinan S1. I know it's pricey, but it does not impact the warranty. Are you happy with it? I'll PM you so this isn't taken off-line and end up open for debate.
