Personally I would also choose for a sub box in the trunk. The results would be better. The original subs produce a fairly good kickbass. Combined with a trunk sub you will have a pretty well rounded low end (for the price of course).

Your idea is feasible but the end result will be not as good sounding as a trunk sub. I tried it myself in a previous car. I've added a small Focal amplifier inline with the underseats and used individual underseats out of an E6x. The result was better than it was but in the end the underseats can't go really low like a true subwoofer can. So I ended up ditching the inline amp. Then I bought a Bimmertech DSP amp. Used this for a while with 2Ohm Harman Kardon underseats but added a trunk sub in the end because with only the underseats I couldn't create a full (and I don't mean loud) bass sound.

In my current car I also have Hifi and I just added the same HK underseats on the stock amp and a small active Focal sub in the trunk (it is a touring so open trunk) and the result is really good for the money and efford I put into it. I was planning on upgrading the rest of the audio as well but I have it now for a year like this and honestly, I'm pleased with it. I will probably leave it like it is for as long as I have the car.

what model focal is it, something like focal ibus 20 ?

I wanted to buy match pp86dsp , cheap but he has 8 x 55watt 4ohm and the newer 7up 5 x 65 4 ohm and 2 x 160watt 2ohm. I don't want to invest because the car is only for two years.

this pp86dsp 200€, maybe it's worth it?, the speakers under the seats would probably have to be 4ohm.

No, it's not that small. It's the Bomba BP20. This is an 8" sub but it works surprisingly well for it's size. Again, I use it in a touring. I'm not sure if it will be powerfull enough in a sedan. A 10 or 12" sub would perform better of course but most of them are an eyesore. This one looks quite nice imho.

A PP86DSP for 200€? Is it a used one? These normaly cost around 800€. They are pretty much the same amp as the Bimmertech PP82DSP I had in my previous car. AFAIK the inputs of the Bimmertech are a little different to work better with the outputs of the BMW Hifi head-unit. Other than that they are a Match amp. The 86 is the successor of the 82. Don't really know what's changed but by a quick look at the specs they seem pretty similar.

They are 2 Ohm stable so you can (must really) use 2 Ohm underseats. However in my opinion they are a little weak. If I would buy one now, I would probably pick the UP 7BMW. With the Bimmertech amp I always felt I it lacked a little power. With the UP 7BMW being more powerfull they seem the better choice. If you can buy a PP86DSP for 200€ however, that would be a good deal.

Keep in mind, for these DSP amps to perform really well you will need some knowledge to set them up or have them tuned by an audio shop. If not they can sound horrible...

However, I did buy an up7. I want to install the amplifier itself for now and evaluate how it sounds. Later, maybe basses under the seats. What is the size of the oem woofers in the g30 hifi 676, 6.5" ?

Get a powered Rockford 10" or 12" sub. Tap into the low level inputs and power it to the trunk battery.
