Thanks Mark. That was their "little angels" look after I found the trash can knocked over and chewed up plastic bags on the floor

Been away for ten-days, including a couple of hours at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm rookery. Anyone, anywhere near there in the spring should check it out.

Here's roseate spoonbill, bringing nesting material home to mamma:

Understatement. I find swallows generally uncooperative with a 700mm rig. Well done.

This is just one tree, in a jungle of similarly populated trees.

Cool shots, DC. I was in Orlando myself this past weekend. Didn't have any time for pics, though.

Nice ones Dave, I saw them on your Flickr. I was back in Healdsburg this weekend picking up some wine. I'm not a huge fan of sparkling wine, but at Cast we were greeted with a chilled glass of their Blanc de Noir, and I really enjoyed it, so picked up a couple. It went well with my grilled, bacon wrapped filet and asparagus.

Yum.

We're big on Prosecco. My middle daughter spent much time in Italy and the Mediterranean and is always bringing around a bottle. I'm a port and Pinot Noir guy, when left to my own devices. Your steak shot makes me want to uncork a bottle. ;-)

Oh, BTW, have you tried Prager Port? Their Tawny stands up to some very expensive competition.

Here's a link to an Album of the shots I took in a two-hour window at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. The concentration of alligators has led to one of the most amazing water bird rookeries that you'll ever see. There are thousands of birds and hundreds of nests within just a few acres. You can walk board walks and peer into nests at eye level. Individual birds and flocks are constantly whirling around. Any bird lover needs to see this:

Prager is one of the most fun tastings in Napa Valley. I love those guys. They are the antitheses of all the stuck up wineries in that area. I have several bottles in stock at all times

Very cool album, DC. We've been to St. Augustine twice in the last few years and have never visited the Alligator Farm. We definitely will the next time we're there.

Wish I could afford to live here. Stopped and looked at an old shack that was for sale on .5 acres. 2.5M

The land would probably be worth more if there wasn't an old shack on it.

My wife and I celebrated our 10yr anniversary last night at our favorite restaurant. Before dinner we sat on their front porch and enjoyed a great bottle of Champagne. Nice way to cap off a really wonderful 10 year journey

Congrats. Nice shot. I hope you have many more blessings.

I'm coming up on number 48. I was struck by age last week, when I was sitting at a table of high school classmates and three of the couples recently or will soon celebrate 50-years. I remember 50th anniversaries only being for really, really OLD people, not my young friends.
