Coding automatic lane changes for active lane control assistant?

Hi

This is sort of a follow up on my thread about Active lane control assistant and automatic lane changes? here: http://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1398288

I have the Driving assistant plus (Driving assistant plus II in the US) package.

In the manual (both printed and online versions) it also says that it shall be capable of lane changes by keeping the turn signal pressed.

It however does not work for me even after my service center updated to latest software. So is some sort of coding necessary to activate it? If so, what?

Thanks!

I don't think that this is available. Do you have a weblink where this is described? We've got two G30 here, one is DAPII and the other one is with autonomous driving package. Both of them will not change lanes. I believe BMW has said that this is kept for next generation autonomous driving packages.

In the thread I'm linking to it is confirmed working by other people on a G3x so it definitely exist.
Just wondering about coding needed.

Is it country specific? Anyone in your country confirmed it works on their car?

There was a confirmation from someone else that it works in Sweden in the other thread.

Intrigued to see how BMW will resolve this. Tesla pushes all the updates over the air and I would be disappointed if BMW don't update these in older cars with correct hardware.
