Well, that seems pretty similar to what I'm seeing as well.

Then you add a $500 Fleet Discount either through your company or Costco and then add the $1000 Rebate from BMW CCA after (after buying a 3yr membership for $134 minimum 14 days before purchase) and you end up with an additional $1500 coming to you via check.
I locked mine in today for 90 as a safety in hopes we see $4k of incentives again in the Nov/Dec promotion cycle when the car is scheduled to be delivered at this point. That potentially puts me in the low $70s on an $86k car. |

Yeah I was with my CA yesterday and I was inquiring about corp fleet discounts. My company is on the list but he also mentioned that Costco members currently are eligible BUT that is looking to go away in October as BMWNA has not seen the traction they were hoping for. Here is the Fleet code for Costco.
Type G offer code NEPP4317 ($500 Costco Member incentive) |

Well, my local dealership (Hansel BMW in Santa Rosa, CA, a mid-size market) was giving me the run around, and after 3+ weeks of being told I had an allocation but couldn't come up with a production number, and after several warnings that I was seriously going to start looking elsewhere, I ended up sending an email to the sales managers of all the major market dealerships in my area (SF Bay Area, Sacramento, Oakland, BMW of SF, BMW of Marin, etc) stating that I'm looking for an allocation spot now, and pricing at least $1500 under invoice.
I received the following offers: BMW of Marin initially said no way, but a day later said they would do $1500 under invoice. They are actually a mid-size market but are one of BMWs Centers of Excellence. BMW of Oakland (Weatherford BMW) said they couldn't do under invoice, but would be willing to sell it to me at invoice. BMW of SF said they had spots now and would do $1500 under invoice without hesitation. I decided to go with BMW of SF mainly because of the friendliness of the CA, and because they are a BMW / Dinan combined dealership, and since I'm getting a Stage 1 tune right after my 1200 mile break-in service, it made the choice pretty easy. And I had a production number the next day! So here's my deal: MSRP: $92,395 Invoice: $86,505 Sales Price: $85,505 (minus incentives) I feel like I'm getting a pretty good deal now! |

I had a similar experience. E-mailed 15 dealers within 100 miles, got 5 replies. 3 were offing essentially the same % off MSRP as in your offer within $100 of each other. One was a few thousand higher. One actually wrote me a long winded message stating that they would not provide any offer, and that I should pay more attention to the experience and convenience I would receive at their dealership and less attention to worrying about a few thousand dollars

From what I was informed (last weekend), dealers have already received an email from BMWNA saying that they are not authorized to accept the Costco discount any longer, despite the terms & conditions. |
