As you know we get a 1 yr subscription to siriusXM. I noticed today when choosing media from the iDrive, the XM, I can only view channels 18 - 41 then jumps to 313. I can get any channel via voice activation yet when I go to view via iDrive it once again only shows 18 - 41. Any thoughts or suggestions? I have had my subscription signal resent by SXM

You might need to call SiriusXM with your radio ID. You should have the all access package during the trial.

I can get all of the channels, they are just not displaying within the Satellite Radio menu in iDrive - where you can scroll through all of the stations available. Only channels available when scrolling are 18 - 42 then jumps to 313 - 319. I cannot scroll through all of the channels and if I can’t choose in the iDrive scrolling function I can’t save as a favorite by press/hold. If I want go to channel 100 I can’t scroll to it, I have to do through voice activation. I know previously I was able to scroll through the channels. I have talked to SiriusXm, they verified my subscription and even sent a signal to my radio. To me it appears to be a hardware issue. I wouldn't think replacing the stock amplifier with the Bavsound amp would cause an issue such as this.

I would go to a dealer and have them re-flash the firmware on your head unit. I have had some of the built-in apps just disappear on me before and that was the fix for me.

I am such a dork....I change the category to Rock from All Channels, so it was only showing Rock stations. I bet that won't happen again.

I might but not willing to pay $21/month. Thought I saw a offer from BMW to get the second year for $60. If so then I'll get at least the second year. I like some classic rock stations and I like streaming it to my Sonos.

where did you see that offer by the way? I saw 6 month for $49.99 after trial (or $119.88 for a year which is kind odd pricing would think should be < 6 month x 2 if they really want me to have incentive)

They are running a special. When my trial runs out, I will get one year of the All Access package for $149 for the entire year. You can't get two of the same promotions back-to-back. The best thing to do is call and tell them that you want to cancel. They will negotiate with you to keep you as a customer. This is the only way to keep the pricing down. I've been doing this with them for years and have been with XM since it first came out in the early 2000s.

Plus I don't believe the 6 month $49 promotion is the All Access package which is what you get during the trial period.

I will double check but I believe t was all access for $60 for 1 year in a letter from BMW. If I'm right I will post the letter. Sorry if I'm mistaken. Yes all the offers I've received from XM have been for 6 months. That is why this offer was interesting.

Yep, that's exactly what I said a few posts back. When my trial ends I will pay $119 for the entire year of the all access package. Already locked it in and will be charged with my trial ends.

They still send me an e-mail every week trying to get us to sign up for $6/month for a year for "select". Without pushing them, this amount seems to be as low as they will go.

That's actually pretty cheap. You can get the all access package for about $12 a month for a full year (which is under half of what they charge month-to-month). Like anything else, when your trial ends threaten to cancel or when your prepaid status ends.

Sirius XM just sent me a email with what looks like best deal so far. All Access for $119 for a year. Previous this was $149.

Actually you can get it for $99/yr. I just called and they updated my $119 renewal price to $99. I will not get charged until my trial runs out. It's basically $8.25/mo plus fees and taxes. Now that's a deal!

Absolutely! I had my 1-yr special lined up for next January. I thought it was for $149, but it was actually $119. Anyhow, they updated the promo price in about 5 minutes to $99/yr plus fees and taxes brings it $128 and some change. Very pleased!
