How clean cerium grey part on 550i?
Hello, I have new 550i I was pickup last week, but I have a problem with
Cerium grey parts (mirror caps etc.) - many black dots (not tar), water spots etc. Can you recommend to me any product for cleaning this and best coating? Thanks Last edited by PetrSY; 01-11-2020 at 12:06 PM.. |

I have it and sling from tires easily marks it and yes watermarks can show. I use megiures spray wax/ceramic hybrid to make cleaning a lot easier and watermarks not likely to take more than a damp rag to wipe off. I have sapphire black and get car washed 1-2 times a week but protect the cerinium parts myself.

Switch them out for cf or body color. Or ceramic coating which is what I did on my m340. To clean I use CarPro eraser

I clean and protect the cerium grey parts using a detailing spray from Meguiar's or Turtle Wax-bugs come off easily and no water spots.
