It looks awesome!
Does it have anything to do with the brightness of the lighting ? Because from the pics it seems much brighter than usual.

Which parameters were related with the doors lower part? It looks better to use the same color with upper band at the lower part but there are a lot of parameters and and BDC coding takes a long time figure out which one is related with the foot and lower door parts

I'll appreciate if you can tell me the groupings for the lower parts for the first 3 photos

Also at the final photo what RGB values did you use for that warm natural yellow? I couldn't catch a combination as perfect as this one. Great job.

Finally Red you've used in the 3rd photo looks better than 255,0,0 red. That looks better. What GB values added?

You just need a glitterball hanging from the headlining and the hifi up loud and you can party away!

Seriously though, nice variation on out of the box options

Thanks, much appreciated

BTW, Genuine B&W has 1 color LEDS and they don't change color with ambient lights. Only China made fake B&W's has a RGB LED which changes color with the ambient lights (Short540 )

These are awesome!

Even the lower door pocket lights are changed as well.

Does the coding change the option in the ID7 and we can select more colors from the ID7 setting?

Cheers!

I am afraid, it doesn’t. So essentially the preset names start the same but a colour combination of choice can be stored be stored behind an existing colour preset i.e., White/Orange.

ID7 works differently to ID6 and only allows us to have 6 colours in total to play with which can be used in combinations and does not let door pockets to change separately.

ID6 allows all 4 layers to be changed separately and we allows any colour choice from RGB spectrum to be used in any combination

I had it done remotely from the guy I mentioned above and paid for the service. There is a way to do it in Bimmercode but idk what/how that happens unfortunately

The ProTool beta release has a great feature for custom coding ambient lighting. You can do it in Bimmercode too but it requires expert mode and you will need to figure out the hex values for each color you want. I've coded my G30 with both tools.

I've had my 2018 M550i for about 2 weeks now and Bimmercode for about a week. Is this something I could do relatively easily or should a novice not try it?
