Is anyone else having problems with the size of their car in the app after the last update? The car has shrunk. Also, ventilate car works 10% of the time via the app. Everything else works fine. I can't believe the charge people for this app.

IPhone version? Was it working OK before recent update?

Rotating car looks ok using remote 3d on my Galaxy s10+. For once android version works better? Lol

Last two times I used the precondition app it failed. I immediately tried again and it succeeded. So if at first you don't succeed, try again!

Latest iPhone version. It was fine before the bmw update. On all versions of iOS. I noticed it in the car as well with the cameras. I don't think it's app specific. Who knows.

I also noticed that in the latest Connected App updated they removed the required services status. The section is there but no longer shows how many miles before next oil change, scheduled inspection, etc.

I doubt they removed these basic functions. It's more than likely a software bug. BMW testing team seems to lack.

I miss the days, before OTA/downloadable updates, where software engineers had to test, test and retest to be certain their code was solid before shipping. Because if it wasn't, it was costly to reissue floppies, cdrom, etc... And in the case of some platforms you had to replace semiconductors because they were one time programmable.

Today, testing is less stringent. Sure, much of today's software is more complicated, but there's also many more automated test tools to check code written in high level languages used today. Just seems most oems would rather ship it and fix it again if need be. Testing has become an internal evil. B/c if it doesn't work they just push another update. And customers are real world beta testers.

Iphone version shows doors, windows, trunk status separately on your iDrive 6 car?
