Point of no return now... my car is in production right now... BMW said it would be stopped and delayed for a long while if I tried to change it...

So now I just wait for my car and hope I don't hate it for 4 years

On the plus side... it's a new car, and it's nearly spring and beer is cheap

Just not in my car If it was all blue on the doors I think I could live with it... fact is I have to live with it now... I am just hoping that what other posters have said is true: that it looks great in person...

Looking at the info in this thread I believe it is going to look pretty good. Different in a good way and better than too much black.

I'm living with Cinnamon in my Sophisto Grey. Not something I'd have chosen, but as the spec' was right I had to compromise. I have to say when I first saw it, I thought it was a classy interior, still think so. I've not had any negative comments from anyone looking at, or riding in the car. In fact it is the opposite, some very complementary comments, because it is different and classy.

Had a nice surprise call last night from BMW, my G30 will be delivered next Thursday 2nd March, not the 20th March...

Now to sell my F10 quickly!

I look forward to getting put out of my misery (or not) with the Night Blue upholstery... I really hope I like it ....

Hello all, just received my new G30 in the last 2 hours....

I should never have doubted other feedback, the Night Blue upholstery is simply beautiful, and does not clash with the black. It is much darker than I thought and blends wonderfully with the rest...

Pics will follow once I've downloaded them.... first impressions compared to F10

- MUCH quieter, no road noise, or engine noise to talk of
- MUCH smoother, a class ahead than the F10, it glides
- The Bluestone metallic is beaetiful, even with Night Blue upholstery
- Noticably bigger inside (I am 6'4"), I can sit in back and front with more space
- Screen is excellent, quick and smooth and intelligent/intuitive
- Adaptive mode with VDC/DDC is special, never had it, but it is like a totally different car
- The standard M Sport rims 662M are much better than the ones on the configurator, stunning
- Pirelli's all round, lovely
- Steering is smoother, still need to adjust to it compared to F10
- Brakes feel different, softer press to start with
- No DRL's at back when lights are in AUTO Mode, please help with a solution !

More later once I get some fuel in and go for a burn

That is a sh1tty photograph that is overexposed with poor color balance. I saw it in person last weekend and the color is black with a hint of navy blue. it is quite beautiful and would look great with Rhombicle trim.

In person it is completely different, very classy and not bright like those pictures

I will post more this evening, I took dozens of new pictures yesterday to try and capture the point, some are in below album. The pictures still do not do the colours justice... it is much better than the pictures convey... I'll get the DSLR out and do it properly over the weekend
