I decided to share my info on my order

I just ordered my 2020 G30 520d M Sport on Friday in Sweden 24/5 -19

What is new for the 2020 in my order is

Interesting although I don't think anyone will be surprised the new dash board and I assume idrive 7 with that.
Wasn't expecting a new steering wheel though.

Might be worth asking the dealer if they provide any info on changes made for this model year.

Congratulations all the same and welcome to the G30 club!

I hope not. I love ACC but not the lane assistant. So most of the time I use ACC but do not activate the lane assistant. Putting them together would be a very bad thing...at least until the can make the car stay centered if the lane assistant is on.

I think on the cars like the 8 that has this feature you press it once for acc and a second time to add lane assist to it.
So bmw just reducing the number of buttons.

A bit like the functionality of the distance you set for the acc. On my previous f10 it was 2 buttons but on the g30 it's just the 1.

I don't know about everyone's preference though I would have prefer they set the ACC to be like the setting speed one where you can push up and down for close further rather than cycle through.

And another thought on the button I would prefer they put the whole sport/comfort etc. as a cycle through on steering wheel instead of down there next to shifter

No news about new wheels, first when they update the configurator.

The steering wheel is changed due to something with the buttons.

I wanted to place the order so that i have the slot and i have time to change my
order, 2020 model production starts first in July.

Considering going down a size on the wheels and adding Laser lights,

What do you think about the laser lights? Are they worth it?
Beside looking nice?
