Regarding smart display key functions

Hello, got a new G30, and gota question, hope some one can help me figure it out or give some comments.

If I upgrade for a smart key, is it possible to remotely start the engine? If yes, I may go to 4S or other places to buy a smart key

The only way you remote start the car is if you have the key because you specified the self parking option, otherwise no you can't.

Even if you had that function, you really need to be closer to the car. It wouldn't start if you are anything further than few meters away from the car. That kinda negates the benefit for many people.

You can try parking the front of the car very close to your front window. may be it might work whilst you are indoors.

Also, its remote parking , not remote start - its only useful for moving the car remotely.

Its not a remote start system because it shuts off the engine when you open the car door and you have to stay pressing the button during the whole time the engine is running.

In summary - works great for remote parking, don't try to use it for remote start.
