mediterranean blue metallic pens

So I was at the dealer for service and I wanted to get the touch up pens for rock chips, and was told bmw isnt producing pens for mediterranean blue metallic. Has anyone experienced this? Is there aftermarket options people are using?

I saw this on another post. I haven't used it but my Mediterranean blue metallic car is on a ship headed to port so I might have too. Good luck.

The pens are good -- but be aware that if unused for a long period of time the tip will dry up and the pen becomes useless. I just found this out the hard way. Small bottles/small brushes will last much longer, and in the long run will be less expensive.

For very small stone chips I have found on several cars that the Dr. Color Chip kits do a great job of hiding them. They don't actually fill a stone chip but they color it so it doesn't stand out. Important on my dark colored cars like Carbon Black and my dark red Z06. They are simple to use and not very expensive, maybe $30-40 for the small kit which is all you will ever need. --Bob
