My 530e finally arrived and I picked it up yesterday. With all the research I did prior to ordering and during the 8 week wait I didn't consider how I would charge the car at home. I've looked for a few long charging cables online but does anyone have any experience with charging cables that are at least 30 feet long? I will be charging in the driveway and unless I have an outlet installed outside in front of my garage, I will need to run the cable about 30 feet.

I'd rather have trusted experience from someone here than trusting Amazon reviews. I'd also rather not use the OEM cable at the end of an extension cord.

I personally ordered a JLONG J1772 extension cable that's rated to 40 amps (real overkill for the 530e, but trust me, you're going to want to go full EV eventually). You can order it on Amazon here: https://smile.amazon.com/JLONG-40ft-.../dp/B01B6OH99S

Thank you! Have you had any issues with it sticking or being hard to insert or remove from the car? That was my only hesitation on purchasing this one from Amazon due to the various reviews and was hoping someone like yourself had experience with the extension cable.
