I have a G30 and i live in the North East Newcastle and have seen a few about now. A couple of bluestone like mine a white and a blue one.

They are becoming more common now round here but still see alot of F10 and see them have G30 envy

I am well happy with mine

You can get 26% off delivery miles 17 plate 5 series:

http://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/7...port-4dr-auto/

£47k - £2k finance sweetener = £45k.

That's not even a diesel one !

27% off this 530d. Odd choices of options, but even so:

http://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/7...d-se-4dr-auto/

They would cull back majority of the savings with 10.9% APR (the interest on the car would be more than 25%). The only real way to save on those cars is to buy cash or by a very low interest loan from a bank

For example the cheapest off delivery miles 520D SE is £33,000 (originally £39995). However the PCP over 48 months, 11000miles/year is £574.94/ month with 2000.00 deposit.

The monthly payment is higher than buying the same car new with 3.9% APR and a current discount of about £6000.00 from original price.

Yes - I'm assuming this is a cash buyer who takes the finance and then repays it all shortly after delivery.

Just ordered a 530e and have Jan 29th as expected delivery date! Seeing lots more on the roads each day and judging by my date there must be lots on order. Anyone know how accurate 1st estimates are, I knew it wouldn't be quick but that's over 5 months away 😥

initial estimates can and do change. I think they initially go to the back of the queue but can be brought forward as dealers can swap them for slots they already had in place.(mine, (not a 530e) changed from October to August)
Don't know about the 530e though whether there is any limitation on how many are being built or when. It may simply be demand for them which I expect to be high in relation to the "war on diesels".

How about this one:

http://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/7...d-se-4dr-auto/

£30k, against £44k list. It's a 2017 66 plate with some miles on it, but even so, 32% discount is pretty good. And a big road tax saving because it's pre-1/4/17....

p.s. not trying to tell anyone to buy these cars - just suggesting that the large discounts already appearing on nearly new cars suggest that BMW may be having trouble shifting stock ?

discounts would also seem to apply to the 7 as well. Park Lane London had a 7 list for £100k and was up for sale for just under £70k the other week!

I am not sure whether it is allowed or not and I may be wrong. The list prices of those cars seem inflated to start with

Amazed about UK pricing. Compared to the Netherlands your list pricing is already lower and specs higher (leather included and also nav prof). Max discount here is 8-9% on list

Garage List
i ordered a 540 xdrive, but honestly i hope they don't sell at all. reason being that they are really getting carrier away with the pricing. and i don't think they are selling because dealers in my area are giving $5000-$9000 off MSRP before even factoring in rebates. for comparison, Audi isn't giving anything off. some cars, like the S5 sportback, are selling over MSRP.

BMW raised the base MSRP by ~$1300 for the '18 MY and gave nothing in return, and made their worthless premium package mandatory for everything.
want ventilated seats? must take the premium package!
want M sport? premium package already bundled in for $4900!
want heads up display/360 camera? you guessed, must take the premium package

to add insult to injury, the 2018 "premium" package is more worthless than the 2017 version. they took out the active headlights and wireless charging and replaced them with a power tailgate and gesture controls. no one needs a power tailgate on a sedan, and don't get me started on the gesture controls.

i think that a lot of perspective buyers who don't like to haggle don't even bother coming to the dealerships once they see the pricing on these cars.

^agree with this. tons of Es on the road, saw at least a half dozen E43s on the road this week, a bunch of E400 coupes and god knows how many E300s.

Good, they finally stopped diluting the brand and selling cars bellow the price! BMW should be exclusive brand and the pricing should follow that.

Of course that you are seeing more E classes on the road, they are selling them since 18 months ago, while the G30 is only 6 months on the market, don't see anything strange or disappoint here.

G30 easily wins every test or a review, overall it's a better car, so it should cost a bit more that the competition.

I have only seen two E class cars compared to several G30s. E class cars are not selling at all.

So basically Mercedes is doomed, they have terrible pricing policy, they are not selling cars below the price anymore, lack fresh design... ?

Is BMW expensive? No problem, Ford, Kia, Hyu etc. are always an option....

9K off MSRP before rebates is insane... I'm sure that one must have every option in the book

i could barely get 7K with rebates thats after walking out from one dealership

I was able to get 6k off with little to no effort on my part and that does not include rebates. I got a moderately equipped 530i...hardly every option in the book

I live in Portland, OR where there are quite a few F10s, but I have not been seeing any G30s around.

Last week I was in Stockholm, Sweden and Prague, Czech Republic and I saw actually saw a few G30s running around. I wonder if the G30 is selling better in Europe than in the US?

I live in central Europe but have not seen many G30s at all - just a faint trickle more recently.

I guess it'll pick up soon, but there are many more "older" models around the roads here.

Visited Munich over the weekend but even in the heart of BMW-country not many visible!

My single experience is not significant though, I have a deep feeling they're going to sell a lot
