G30 520d or 330e?

Has anyone come from a 330e to 520d g30. If so what were the thoughts in terms of comparative ride, refinement and build quality. I have a chance to return my g30 520d se for a 330e msport. Am I likely to regret this? Appreciate these decisions are subjective but opinions welcome.

I am going the other way. I currently have a 330e msport and just put in an order for a 530e which should arrive around the end of the year.

The 330e drives well. With the MSport suspension, my wife thinks the ride is too harsh and the streets here in Phoenix are actually pretty good. I like a small car for maneuverability but the 330e can be a little tight inside. Also, some of the options are limited and you are in the last year of production before a new 3 series is released so that could impact on your resale value.

The 330e is only available with the basic safety options -- lane change warning, ACC, blind spot alert but not the additional ones available on the 530e (lane correction, evasion aid, etc.). Also, the only grade of leather that is available is Dakota.

For those reasons I am moving from the 330e to a 530e. It lets me get all the safety features that I want (including the nifty nightvision with pedestrian protection), nappa leather and dynamic dampers so my wife can appreciate a softer ride and I can stiffen it up when she is not with me.

Anyway...for whatever it is worth, these are some of my observations.

Im going from an F10 520d m sport to a new G30 530e.
Delivery due on 10th November, so not long now.

The 520d m sport is a good car and has been really reliable but im really looking forward to the new tech and ride in the 530e.
I test drove a G30 520d m sport and it was very nice, smooth, responsive, quiet and a very good ride, it was on m sport passive suspension.
I have ordered Adaptive dampers on the new one, want a little more comfort this time.
If it wasnt for the big company car tax saving with the 530e then i would be back in a new 520d m sport, its a very nice car.
