The 10 year old in me likes it. The adult part of me says that it's going to be chintzy and make people think i am compensating for something.

Great another thing to add weight and break and suck more power.

The last thing you wanna do with these new hideously huge kidney grills is to accentuate them.

Perhaps if the kidney grills were designed better and look cooler as we all know they can be that would be a different story. Until sexy kidney grills are back then why bother?

Sorry but...
I do like the big grills.
I do like the idea to illuminate them.
Both look great in my opinion.

(I am not a gangster nor an asian, though.)

This is funny. How about BMW try to offer more choice of wheels and some real coil over suspensions like Ohlin. That is something that would be amazing.

ok, now I wonder what the LCI will bring more.

They've put quite some new things on the current model...

(not that I'm going to order the 'BMW-phone-home'-grills)

everyone say this with me..... Chinese market....

They are not appealing to enthusiasts but those that want to let everyone know its a bmw. They have changed the corona rings so much that its not distinct so now they copy benz and go what are our iconic things we can light up, not the badge.. that would be too copy copy... lets do the grills as we've seen some tuners do.

I find it hilarious that the button is required and does not come with the package and must be purchased separately..

Eventuri should make corona ringed intakes for their m car offerings.

Please do not include these on M cars going forward... if it does somehow end up on them, please make it optional.

Hmm...not sure why the button wasn't included with these - definitely room in the box for it. Here's what you get:

and the button sold separately:

Zip ties? Now, that’s professional....
Wow, what a joke this brand started to be...
Seriously, I am worried by the new BMW philosophy which is about everything except diyamics and reliability.
