oil burning smell

I have a 21 550i. Does anyone else smell the scent of oil burning while running in sport mode when the rpms hit the 5-6k rpm range?

Haha. This is such a specific ask/situation my dude. You should probably just have your dealer take a look if you are even a little concerned. If its a 2021 its probably still under warranty so why not?

Nope and you should not smell oil burn off. Take it to the dealer.

Never smelled oil and I like to have spirited drives on occasions. Definitely see your dealer.

With a diesel engine, you can smell a similar smell when burning the DPF.
