Underbody Flapping Noise

Hello,

Has anyone experienced a flapping noise that seems to come from under the car in the area of below the front passenger? My wife has a 2018 M550i purchased new with no modifications. The sound started maybe a month ago. The sound only occurs at high speeds (around 60 mph). I am guessing something is loose under the car, but when I look under the car all the panels seem to be in place and secure.

I bet one of the Acess panels is missing an attachment clip or bolt.

I have from time to time found myself following a vehicle down the road with a clearly visible underbody panel flapping. Usually an older Toyota or the like. Lazy mechanics who worked on it. --Bob

Hello, circling back to this after car was taken to the dealership for diagnosis. Turns out a cross member bolt was loose. Probably when they replaced a front strut, they did not properly tighten the bolt.
