Latest software update bricked my 2023 530e
I was prompted to do the software upgrade at my kid’s sports event, so I ran it. It completed successfully, but now my car won’t charge.
Does anyone have thoughts on a quick fix? |

I had to go to dealer. My screens went blank and a notification said to call my dealer to make appointment.
Mine is a 540. Good news is after 3 days I got my car back good as new with done new minor touches. |

My update went well, except my CarPlay was acting up until I reset the phone connection.
My last update (~6 months ago) caused a check engine light and no charging until I let the car sit locked for a few hours. 🤷‍♂️ I thought iPhone updates were painful. 😂

I updated my new X5 a few days ago. First time doing this as my G30 is ID6. The update went fine, but being my first time through the process, it's definitely clunky with the My BMW app download, then the upload to the car from the phone and then having to actually press update in the car and say yes 10 times (exaggerating). Just not as much of an "automatic" update as I expected, but this doesn't surprise me being BMW, they are still light years behind on apps etc.
