Car resets driver profiles when getting gas

When I go to fill up I turn the car off then open the door which shuts the car off. When I start to pump and go sit back in the car the screen turns on, but then the car defaults to a completely different driver profile, seat settings, radio settings, etc. I go into profiles to select mine, but the settings don’t revert back.

Has anyone else had this issue? It drives me crazy.

My mistake, I swapped out the X3MC for a 2023 530i.

Are you using a different key? Car settings are saved under each key. Maybe you grabbed the spare by mistake.

It’s the same fob I always use. It pulls up my driver profile and Guest. Even if I toggle between mine or Guest it doesn’t change.

Kinda crazy but mine started acting weird when i upgraded software recently. Everything was saved but my memory seat settings. Pissed me off. And then keep getting this pop up.

I think I changed my password on the ap and now the car is asking for the new password. I’ll see it that works later. Annoying.
