Hi,

I bought a G30 a few days ago. The man who sold it to me tried to activate Apple Carplay by coding it, but didn't bother to take the car to an expert. Now, the entire bluetooth connection is f*ed up. Can't connect my phone, no matter what I do.

When I press on "Connect new device", "Activating bluetooth..." appears, then a pop up shows, saying "Unable to establish connection." with options "Ok" or "Retry". I tried resetting the navi to its factory settings, but still nothing changes.

Any solutions?

Whilst I don't have an answer . Can you on your phone browse for Bluetooth devices and can you see the car? Ie is the Bluetooth working on the car

The best but not cheapest option is to take it to a dealer and get them to re flash the software . It's it takes a couple of hours to do dependant upon options on the car so expect to pay a couple of hours of labour

An expert cider may be able to help but problem is you don't know what was done unfortunately

I can't find the car on my phone, because the car is unable to activate the bluetooth, I guess.

I will take the car to the dealer if I won't be able to find a solution here

You could also buy Protool and restore the modules to factory settings yourself. ProTool will also be very handy for DIY coding, so it's not a one time expense. Also, a good coder can flash your entire car to the latest software which overwrite the mess you have now. Key word, "good" coder.
