Technic harness query, sound coming in and out
Hi,
i had a shop install the technic harness add a sub. after a few days, i found the sound was cutting in and out from the speakers. very strange for it to start happening. anyway, i checked the connections and this is what I found on the technic harness - does this look right, should it be flush? i tried to put it in but its look like it won't go in any more. any ideas? |

Could it be a bent pin or a pin out of place as that is definitely not right.
I would talk to the shop as they shouldn't have installed it like that. The connectors are designed so you can't mess it up so it's very odd. The connectors on the RAM booster are smaller and different. |

all sorted.
1) I must have loosened the connection when i was connecting the bass controller. 2) regarding the picture above, its sitting not quite flush (outer casing) but the core connection is all good. the RD500/1 and W6 12 inch combo is hitting well with the technic harness I have it low passed at about 75hz and installed a bass controller up front, so i can adjust the bass to the music. there is still decent amount of sub-bass coming through when seats up. However when i put the middle seat down, i can feel the extra bass. i have found it sounds best when the sub is rear facing |
